Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and tokens. We and our providers use them to keep you signed in, to secure the Service, and to understand how it is used. This policy explains what we use and how to control it, and supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. Essential cookies
These are required for the Service to work and cannot be turned off through our site. They include:
- Authentication (Clerk). Session cookies set by our authentication provider Clerk keep you securely signed in and protect your account. Without them you cannot log in.
- Security and delivery (Cloudflare). Cookies used by Cloudflare to route traffic, protect against abuse, and keep the Service available.
- Payments (Stripe). Cookies set during checkout to process payments securely and reduce fraud.
- Preferences. Local storage that remembers settings such as your theme.
3. Analytics cookies
We may use limited, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are visited and whether features work, so we can improve the Service. These are not used to sell your data or to build advertising profiles. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential analytics cookies.
4. How to control cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can set your browser to warn you or refuse cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core features. Where we offer a consent control for non-essential cookies, you can change your choice there at any time. Guidance for common browsers is available in their help pages.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as our technologies change; we will revise the “last updated” date above. Questions? Contact us at support@trueprofit.ca, Ontario, Canada.
